Job description

Alpine Investors' newest platform, Guardian Restoration Partners, is leading transformative change in the restoration and mitigation industry. At Guardian Restoration Partners, we are on a mission to build the most impactful restoration business in the field. With a network of dedicated "Guardians," we help property owners in crisis rebuild their lives after devastating events like water, fire, and mold damage.

Backed by Alpine Investors, Guardian is a people-driven private equity firm focused on building enduring, high-growth businesses. We partner with exceptional operators to scale local service companies into market leaders through strong execution, technology, and operational support.

What we need:

We are seeking a Site Leader to launch and grow our Riverside, CA operation across the Inland Empire. This is a unique opportunity to build a market from the ground up with the backing of a high-growth platform.

As Site Leader, you will serve as the single-threaded owner of the Inland Empire business, responsible for generating job flow, executing mitigation operations, and building the foundation for a scalable team.

In the early phase, this role is highly hands-on-combining business development, sales, and operational execution. Over time, the role evolves into full site leadership, focused on team development, operational scale, and expansion into additional service lines.

This is a build-and-scale role, ideal for a driven operator who wants to take ownership of a market and grow into a General Manager.

 What You'll Do:

Build the Market (Business Development)

  • Establish and grow referral relationships with plumbers, property managers, and local partners
  • Generate consistent job flow through outbound outreach and relationship management
  • Represent Drylux as the trusted local restoration partner

Own Operations & Execution

  • Oversee mitigation jobs from intake through completion
  • Ensure all work meets Drylux standards for quality, safety, and documentation
  • Support or perform field work as needed in early stages

Drive Performance & Results

  • Achieve strong close rates on referred jobs (target ~70%+)
  • Maintain high documentation accuracy and job quality standards (target ~95%+)
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and partner satisfaction
  • Drive profitable growth and execute financial strategies to meet Guardian's performance targets.

Build & Lead the Team

  • Recruit, train, and develop field technicians as job volume grows
  • Establish a high-performance culture aligned with Drylux standards
  • Transition from individual contributor to team leader

Scale the Business

  • Build processes and systems to support multi-crew operations
  • Delegate effectively as the team grows
  • Prepare the business for expansion into additional service lines (e.g., rebuild)

What We're Looking For:

Core Qualifications:

  • California Class B General Building Contractor license required
  • Proven ability to generate business through relationship-driven sales
  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to operate independently
  • Experience managing or executing field-based work (construction, restoration, or home services)
  • Ability to balance sales and operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to build a team

Preferred

  • 4+ years restoration/mitigation experience
  • Experience launching or growing a new market, territory, or business unit
  • Exposure to operational metrics, job costing, or P&L performance

Our Core Values:

  1. Results Matter - We deliver measurable outcomes
  2. Do the Right Thing - Integrity drives every decision
  3. Customer-First Mindset - We build trust through exceptional service

Total Rewards:

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401k
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Days, Personal Days)

We are focused on becoming an "employer of choice" and are continuously looking at how to expand our Total Rewards offerings to best suit the needs of our employees.

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to build and own a market from scratch with the backing of Guardian and Alpine-combining the autonomy of an entrepreneur with the support of a proven platform. With a clear growth path and P&L ownership, you'll have the ability to drive growth, make a direct and visible impact, and accelerate your career in a high-growth environment.

Location: Riverside and Inland Empire

At Guardian Restoration Partners, we are always seeking top talent to build our pipeline of future General Managers for upcoming acquisitions. These are pivotal leadership roles, and we are committed to finding exceptional candidates who align with our values and ambitious growth trajectory.
