Some jobs pay the bills.
Some jobs remind people they matter.

At Senior Helpers of Reading, we’re looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver who wants to make a real impact while working with a supportive and respectful team.

If you enjoy helping others, building genuine connections, and doing work that actually means something at the end of the day — we’d love to talk with you.

And yes… if you’re ready, you could start THIS WEEK.

What You’ll Do

Caregiving isn’t just checking tasks off a list.
It’s helping someone feel safe, comfortable, independent, and cared for.

Your day may include:

  • Sharing conversation and companionship with clients
  • Helping with meals and light daily routines
  • Assisting with walking, dressing, and personal care
  • Participating in hobbies and activities clients enjoy
  • Providing encouragement, patience, and kindness
  • Keeping families and the care team updated on client wellbeing

Some days you’ll help someone physically.
Other days, emotionally.
Both matter deeply.

Why Caregivers Love Working Here

At Senior Helpers of Reading, caregivers are not “just employees.”
You are the heart of what we do.

We work hard to create a positive, respectful environment where caregivers feel appreciated and supported — because when caregivers feel valued, everyone wins.

What We Offer:

  • Pay starting at $17–$19/hour
  • Immediate openings
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Work-life balance that respects your real life
  • Ongoing training and professional growth opportunities
  • A genuinely supportive office team
  • Recognition and appreciation programs
  • Meaningful work that changes lives daily

We’re also proud to be recognized as a Great Place to Work®, with 91% of employees saying Senior Helpers is a great place to work.

This Role Is Perfect For Someone Who:

  • Loves helping people
  • Is compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Enjoys building relationships with seniors
  • Wants meaningful work instead of “just another job”
  • Communicates well and shows up reliably
  • Wants to grow professionally in healthcare or caregiving
