Job description
We made history and now we work to transform the future - for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.
The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service and professional expertise to thousands of dealers and millions of customers in over one hundred countries around the world.
The Ford Motor Credit Company ("Ford Credit") has received the regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank("the Bank") to be headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles, parts, accessories, EV Infrastructure and software and will accept deposits with competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Credit, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company ("Ford").
The people of Ford Credit have a 60-year commitment to helping put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service, and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over 100 countries around the world. The proposed Bank will be a strategic addition to Ford Credit and is key to providing the capabilities needed to meet the financing expectations of Ford customers.
If you're customer-focused, driven and seeking the opportunity to experience exciting challenges and growth, look no further. The successful candidate will be a member of an exciting and dynamic team of banking professionals who would have the opportunity to stand up and begin the operations of the de novo Bank. New employees hired by the bank will initially be Ford Credit employees. Once the bank is formally established, these employees may be transferred to the new bank.
Come help build a better world, where every person is free to move and pursue their dreams. Ford was built on the belief that freedom of movement drives human progress. It's a belief that has fueled our passion to create great cars and trucks. And today, it drives our commitment to become the world's most trusted mobility company, designing vehicles for a smart world that helps people move more safely, confidently, and freely. Ford is experiencing significant business transformation in an ever-changing digital world. We are dedicated to delivering distinctive products and solutions, having an "always on" relationship with customers and continuously improving our user experience.
In this position...
As the Service Provider Oversight Analyst, you will support the ongoing management of risks associated with the bank's third-party ecosystem, including services provided by an affiliate. Unlike a policy-setting or audit role, this is an operational, "hands-on" position within the First Line of Defense. You will assist in the day-to-day execution of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, helping ensure external partnerships-from fintech collaborators to critical IT infrastructure providers-operate within the bank's risk appetite and remain in compliance with federal regulations (OCC, Federal Reserve, FDIC).
The position will work closely with Ford Credit's Vendor Management to align and collaborate on process, while conducting oversight of Ford Credit as a Service Provider.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
• Support the Risk Lifecycle: You will help identify, assess, and support mitigation of risks across the vendor lifecycle, contributing to the bank's "boots on the ground" oversight to help ensure it is as rigorous as its internal controls
• Conduct Due Diligence: Perform pre-contract due diligence tasks. You won't just review checklists; you will evaluate a provider's financial health, operational resilience, and cybersecurity posture to help determine fitness for the bank's requirements.
• Support Contractual Integrity: Work with Legal and Procurement to help draft and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will help ensure that "Right to Audit" and "Step-in Rights" are documented as actionable tools.
• Monitor Performance: Support a continuous monitoring program by tracking and analyzing performance data and SOC reports to help identify "weak signals" of vendor distress or non-compliance before they escalate into systemic issues.
• Support Incident Response: Serve as a point of contact for third-party service disruptions or data breaches. You will support the operational response, helping ensure timely remediation and clear communication to the Second Line (Risk/Compliance) and leadership.
• Support Business and Risk Alignment: Work with internal business unit leaders to help them achieve their goals through third parties while helping maintain disciplined risk posture.
• Support Regulatory Readiness: Help maintain an "always-audit-ready" environment. You will assist with operational queries during regulatory examinations, helping document how the bank manages its third-party exposures on a daily basis.
Qualifications
You'll have...
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Management, or Operational Risk within a bank.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Experience working with regulators and a strong, working knowledge of banking regulations and guidance regarding third-party oversight and vendor management
• 1LoD Knowledge: Experience operating within a First Line of Defense capacity, with a track record of performing oversight or audit functions.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, financial statements, and SOC 1/SOC 2 reports to assess the viability and security of service providers.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a high-pressure, regulated environment.
Even better, you may have...
You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? • Established and active employee resource groups
• Paid time off for individual and team community service

• Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
