Position Summary
We are seeking multiple Workday HRIS Business Systems Analysts to support a recently implemented Workday environment. These individuals will play a key role in post-go-live support, hypercare, system enhancements, reporting, configuration, testing, maintenance, and ongoing optimization efforts.
The team is hiring analysts to support one of several functional areas, including Core HCM, Payroll, or Time & Attendance, depending on experience and business needs. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business requirements into system solutions, supporting ongoing enhancements, and helping drive the long-term success of the Workday platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.
  • Translate functional business needs into technical system solutions and configurations.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday and related HR systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications and support testing, training, and implementation activities.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to optimize processes and improve system performance.
  • Support system upgrades, integrations, data conversions, and enhancement projects.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Develop testing and audit procedures to ensure data quality and system integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver effective solutions.
  • Provide ongoing system administration, maintenance, and user support.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
  • Experience supporting HRIS, HCM, Payroll, and/or Time & Attendance systems.
  • Experience supporting Workday in a post-implementation or operational environment.
  • Experience gathering requirements and partnering directly with business stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Workday implementation experience strongly preferred.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of Workday functionality and HR business processes.
  • Experience with HR data analytics, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Experience with functional-to-technical mapping and requirements translation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Knowledge of integrations, data structures, business processes, and system workflows.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and implementation partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
