Job Description Maintenance Technician - 2nd & 3rd Shifts (Direct Hire) Location: Sterling Heights, MI Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour + 15% shift premium (Based on experience and interview) Shifts Available: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hiring Immediately - Direct Hire Opportunity Job Summary We are looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings, presses, conveyors, CNC machines, washers, assembly equipment, automation systems, and related machinery. The technician will also support the assembly and press departments, participate in press set-ups, and ensure optimal equipment performance

Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain stamping presses, conveyors, CNC machines, assembly equipment, and automation systems Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, corrective actions, and equipment improvements Operate forklifts and man lifts as needed Support press set-ups, optimize setup time, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safe work practices Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication schematics Utilize MIG or ARC welding and cutting torches as needed Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Elimination of Waste Team meetings Serve as a wastewater handler after completion of required training Work overtime when necessary to meet production demands What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant maintenance with strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial systems Experience with basic electrical circuits and diagrams Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance standards High school diploma or equivalent (Technical training preferred) Excellent manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 80 pounds frequently Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to noise and perform repetitive motion tasks, bending, stooping, and ladder climbing What's in It for You Employee Stock Ownership Plan Incentive Bonus Medical, Vision, Dental, and Prescription Drug Plan 401K Retirement Plan Paid Vacation and Holidays Short-Term Disability Coverage Tuition Reimbursement Health and Wellness Reimbursement Employee Recognition Programs Exclusive Discount Programs This is an excellent opportunity for experienced maintenance professionals looking for a long-term career with a leading manufacturing company.
