Rate of pay: $37.87
Core hours: 6 am to 2 pm Monday - Friday

Melwood & Eggleston Enterprises, LLC has an immediate need for a DC 3rd Class Engineer at the Carver Center.

The Engineer DC 3rd Class is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance during their watch of all equipment in their plant. Operates and maintains one or more systems that provide the facility with such services as heat, air-conditioning (cool, humidify, dehumidify, filter, and circulate air), refrigeration steam, or high-temperature water or electricity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts which register various aspects of the system's operation, adjusting controls to ensure safe and efficient operation of the system and to meet demands for the service provided;

2. Records in logs various aspects of the system's operation;

3. Keeps the engines, machinery, and equipment of the system in good working order

4. May direct and coordinate activities of other workers (not stationary engineers) in performing tasks directly related to operating and maintaining the system or systems.

5. Experience working with air holder unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have a minimum of a DC 3rd Class Engineer's License. A DC 1st Class Engineer's License is preferred.

2. Must be able to gain clearance/access to a federal facility as governed by the customer

3. Experience using MAXIMO is preferred.

4. Experience using Energy Management System (EMS)/ BAS

5. Experience working with Chiller and Pumps
