Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent to join our team as the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing Channel Strategy. This role can be based on a hybrid schedule in Cincinnati, OH or Raritan, NJ.

The Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing Channel Strategy is responsible for translating customer, market, and performance insights into integrated marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and business growth across the Surgery portfolio.

This role serves as the strategic connector between must-win customer priorities, audience strategy, and experience orchestration. Working across Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Social, Professional Education, Data, Marketing, and Digital teams, this individual defines the planning frameworks, engagement strategies, and optimization approaches that drive cohesive customer experiences across global markets.

The role owns the surgery global channel strategy for web, social, and e-detailing (FSO), defining clear audience priorities, experience elements, capabilities, and content excellence. Responsibilities include the development of customer-centric planning models, audience frameworks, and journey-based engagement strategies, ensuring marketing investments, content priorities, and experience enhancements are aligned to customer needs, business priorities, and measurable outcomes. Through close partnership with Marketing and Digital teams, this individual translates customer and performance insights into actionable recommendations that strengthen engagement, optimize digital experiences, and improve marketing effectiveness across the global ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Marketing Strategy & Audience Planning

Translate global customer, market, and competitive insights into integrated marketing planning frameworks that guide business priorities and customer engagement strategies.

Develop and evolve global audience frameworks, personas, and journey maps to inform content, channel, and experience decisions across the customer ecosystem.

Own and advance the ' Experience Orchestration' Framework, establishing a customer-centric planning model that aligns engagement strategies across brands, channels, and markets.

Provide strategic guidance on content prioritization and audience engagement opportunities across platforms, channels, and geographic markets.

Establish global measurement standards, success metrics, and learning agendas in partnership with Analytics to drive data-informed decision making and continuous optimization.

Translate customer, channel, and performance insights into actionable planning recommendations for Content, Experience, Social, and Brand teams.

Champion a test, learn, optimize, and scale approach to integrated marketing planning, accelerating innovation and embedding continuous improvement across the organization.

Customer Experience & Engagement Strategy

Partner with Digital Product teams to define experience requirements, roadmap priorities, and enhancement opportunities across Surgery's owned digital experiences.

Develop a comprehensive view of the customer engagement ecosystem, identifying how owned, paid, earned, and third-party experiences work together throughout the customer journey.

Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Social, and Professional Education teams to ensure experiences are designed around customer needs, behaviors, and engagement priorities.

Identify gaps and opportunities across the customer experience landscape and recommend strategies to improve engagement, adoption, and experience effectiveness.

Partner with Marketing, Digital, and Measurement teams to align audience priorities, digital capabilities, and integrated marketing strategies.

Measurement, Insights & Optimization

Partner on integrated learning frameworks that connect customer, channel, content, and experience performance data into actionable business insights.

Lead strategic planning discussions informed by audience, journey, engagement, and market insights.

Supervise performance trends and find opportunities to improve experience effectiveness, customer engagement, and marketing impact.

Translate learnings into scalable best practices, planning frameworks, and recommendations that can be adopted across markets and business units.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or related field.

Proven experience delivering integrated communications strategies tied to business outcomes in a complex environment.

Strong background in media relations, issues management, and executive communications.

Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors preferred.

Proven ability to influence senior partners and navigate ambiguity.

Strong understanding of digital ecosystems (web, social platforms, search) and measurement approaches (AI-optimization, analytics, listening, dashboards, performance reporting).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
