Job description

The Senior Product Manager - Tech for AWS Data Center Power Generation Infrastructure owns the successful delivery of the newest generations of data center energy innovations, and electrical power generation infrastructure technologies from concept to at-scale global implementation.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering large-scale critical HV/ MV projects in partnership with our commercial energy and procurement teams globally under tight deadlines. Understanding of product development tied to Gas and Diesel Generators, inverter based technologies such as BESS, Fuel Cells and associated controls is necessary to be successful in this role. Further, constructibility and operation of HV/MV projects and how they inform product feature prioritization and standardization is critical to this role.

The candidate will need to have in-depth understanding of the supply chain domain and B2B interactions in this space. This role requires deep subject matter expertise in the supplier relationship domain and the candidate should possess a proven history of building relevant products/programs at scale alongside Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Our project is an early-stage effort with a bold long-term vision and a power to transform the industry.

This comes with a lot of opportunities to develop/launch a new suite of product capabilities and also grow as a product leader.
As Sr. Product Manager you will be the lead strategist in identifying customer and industry specific pain points, driving those into solves both with the OEMs and our broader program. In this role, you will work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Business, Legal as well as Senior Leaders to bring solutions to market and evaluate opportunities for big ideas

The right candidate is someone who can "think big" while diving deep, remain flexible to change, resourceful, customer-focused, and someone with a passion for innovation at hyper speed and scale. You should also possess the ability to influence people across functions, including technical teams, partner organizations, and business leaders. To do this, you must be able to manage complex initiatives across numerous business models, create certainty out of ambiguous requirements, while having a firm grasp over the operational, strategic, and technical aspects of the product solution.

Candidate must be skilled at showing high judgment to inform technology and business trade-offs.
