Over the last 15+ years, Horizon Rehabilitation has become the area leader in providing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy, pelvic health, balance and vestibular therapy, and an extensive sports medicine program. Our three clinics offer over 30 specialty programs, and our patients have reported an overall satisfaction rating of 98.6%. We are very proud of our services and the depth of knowledge and passion we bring to them.
Our patient-centered approach allows our therapists to spend quality time with their patients while working 8-5 Monday through Friday. We are focused on building long-term relationships with our therapists, staff, and patients.
Job Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. Our diverse specialized services include Balance and Fall Prevention, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Gait Analysis, Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Spine Rehabilitation, pre- and post-surgical Rehabilitation, Workers' Compensation, and Manual Therapy.
Responsibilities
  • Implements a physical therapy treatment program as described by a physical therapist's written plan of care.
  • Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of the PT, and treatments are modified only as allowed by the plan of care.
  • Monitors patient's condition and progress towards treatment goals. Motivates and instructs patient/caregiver using appropriate methods.
  • Documents appropriately in the medical record and completes other documentation duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensures safe care of patients by adhering to policies, procedures, and standards within specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, flexibility based on patient census, and accuracy of practice.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Exercise, manual-based skills with sports rehabilitation experience.
  • Current state of South Carolina license or license eligible.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone who enters the clinic.
  • A passion for physical therapy and patient care.
