Job description

Supervise and participate in the administration of respiratory therapy to patients with respiratory related difficulties in accordance with physicians' orders; perform the more complex respiratory therapy procedures; teach in-service education classes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school graduation or equivalency required. Completion of approved associates degree program in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor Degree preferred), or another degree program in Respiratory Therapy determined by NYS Education Dept to be equivalent. Current New York State License & Registration, completion of National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) exam for Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), plus registry exam (RRT, written and simulation exams). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
