Job description

Responsibilities
  • Engage Scientific Leaders (SLs) and build relationships to provide company-approved medical/scientific information on therapeutic areas and Company products.
  • Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions; address scientific questions and route inquiries outside scope (e.g., grants) to appropriate resources.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the therapeutic/clinical environment in COPD.
  • Upon request: support research discussions with SLs/investigators to align investigator-sponsored research concepts and identify enrollment/retention barriers.
  • Upon request: recommend study sites/investigators for phase IIโ€“IV, conduct Site Initiation Visits, and serve as protocol lead in collaboration with Global Clinical Trial Operations.
  • Support scientific congresses/medical meetings; facilitate exchange of Company and competitor data.
  • Gather insights/feedback during routine activities to inform medical/scientific needs and priorities.
Required/Preferred Qualifications
  • Credentialed Director-level clinician/scientist: PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
  • 3+ years relevant therapeutic area experience beyond terminal degree (COPD/Respiratory).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking; ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions.
  • Strong understanding of FDA/OIG/HIPAA and relevant pharma regulations; ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with virtual meeting platforms.
  • Preferred: 3+ years COPD (Respiratory) experience; field-based medical experience; research experience; publication record.
