McMenamins Bagdad Theater & Pub is Hiring for Theater Concessions / Food Runner 18+

McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving our own handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside good, honest pub fare. Description of the Position: Food Runner duties include but are not limited to; greeting and seating customers in a high-volume environment, answering phones, directing customers to assigned or preferred seating, answering guest’s questions regarding the pub or property, and expediting and delivering food from the kitchen to patrons in a timely manner. This position may also be required to help, clean, and set tables. In addition, they may restock supplies, perform general cleaning, work outside on a seasonal basis, work in smoking and non-smoking environments and most importantly maintain and provide excellent customer relations with all patrons. This position requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment. A host/food runner must have the ability to work well independently and also as a member of a team.

Description of the Position: In general, every McMenamins concessions team member will be asked to handle every task from opening to closing, including expediting food from the kitchen to the guests’ table in a timely and efficient manager. Duties include but are not limited to; selling tickets and concession items, serving food, pouring and serving beer, wine and spirits, greeting incoming customers, checking ID’s of patrons purchasing alcoholic beverages, operating a POS system, cash handling, restocking supplies, dishwashing, general cleaning, and most importantly maintaining and providing excellent customer relations with all customers. Concession team members are required to wait & bus tables in dimly lit theater environments. Being a concessions team member can be hard physical work and requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment. A concessions team member must also have the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Each employee will be expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to Management. All McMenamin employees will also be expected to keep current on all company events, history, and products. Other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
