Position Overview

Are you a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health counselor ready to make a genuine impact on the lives of individuals in need? Join The Vines Counseling Solutions, where you will work remotely while providing outpatient therapy to clients in Niagara Falls, New York. As a full-time therapist, you will engage with clients Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, focusing on delivering high-quality mental health care and helping them navigate their challenges.

Work Environment

You will work from the comfort of your home, utilizing modern telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems to serve clients effectively. Our remote work model ensures flexibility and work-life balance, while our outpatient office setup provides a structured framework for delivering one-on-one therapy sessions. Your work will be supported by a close-knit team of professionals who are dedicated to client care and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients, addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring that each plan is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the client.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver holistic support, engaging in regular communication to discuss treatment progress and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Monitor patient outcomes through ongoing evaluations and modify care plans to optimize effectiveness and improve quality of life for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients from different backgrounds, utilizing culturally competent practices to address their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications
  • Active New York State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and virtual therapy platforms, ensuring seamless client interactions.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, we prefer candidates who have experience working in outpatient therapy settings. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and innovative treatment approaches will be advantageous in this role. Experience working with diverse populations will enhance your contributions to our team.
