Job description

Family Community Specialist Level II

Salary: $37,000 - $42,000

The Family Community Specialist Level II will:

  • Provide supportive services to children and families including education, child development, homemaking, and child and family well-being

  • Work with hard to reach or resistant individuals and families

  • Develop a working knowledge of services available within each community for the child and family.

  • Complete reports and documentation timely and according to organizational and contract standards

  • Guage levels of academic needs and develop individualized plans for each child to reach academic standards

  • Utilize and grow knowledge of school and community academic resources to help children reach academic standards

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 4 years full time employment experience providing direct service to children and families. Experience must include service to families that need assistance in the protection and care of their children
