Job Title: Stockroom Coordinator: Stockroom

Job Summary:
The Stockroom coordinator: Stockroom is responsible for directing stockroom associates and handling materials in the stockroom. Ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. This role supports the stockroom supervisor in operations by leveraging material clerks, inventory systems and adhering to safety and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management Systems:

Use inventory management systems to track, update, and maintain stock levels.

Ensure data accuracy in inventory records and assist in regular audits.

Responsible for resolving discrepancies under 1k in dollar amount.

Audits

Stockroom Organization:

Maintain an organized and clean stockroom environment to streamline operations.

Ensure materials are stored in designated locations for easy access and efficient retrieval.

Material Handling:

Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and carts, to move materials within the stockroom.

Adhere to safety protocols during all material handling activities.

Operate stand-up reach trucks, narrow aisle forklifts, low-level order pickers.

Inventory Accuracy:

Assist in maintaining precise records of stock received, stored, and distributed.

Support cycle counting and other inventory control measures.

Conduct daily bin audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Stockroom Supervisor and team members to ensure smooth stockroom operations.

Communicate effectively to address inventory or operational issues.

Compliance & Safety:

Follow and Enforce safety guidelines and organizational policies during stockroom activities.

Report safety hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Leadership skills

Experience in stockroom operations or inventory management.

Collaboration and delegation to team members.

Familiarity with inventory systems and stockroom organization best practices.

Physical capability to lift and move materials up to 50lbs.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

Experience of operating material handling equipment.

Knowledge of inventory control processes such as cycle counting.

Certification in inventory or warehouse management is a plus.

Work Environment:
