Job description

Skeletons, lasers, tattoo buses - the Torq brand grabs attention like nothing else in cybersecurity. And we're growing like crazy, backed by Series D funding, 200% employee growth, and 300% revenue growth. Fueling Torq's momentum is our game-changing AI SOC platform, backed by a team and culture that makes Torq one of Forbes' Best Startup Employers in America, and a Business Insider 'startup to bet your career on'.
Life at Torq is all gas, no brakes. We're a team of relentless, collaborative go-getters pushing the boundaries of what's possible for security automation. Every role is an essential driver of Torq's success as the AI-native autonomous SecOps platform of choice for security teams across the Fortune 500.
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing company at a breakthrough stage - building our dream team with the most passionate and professional people in the industry. This is a US-based position, joining a global DevOps team primarily based in Israel. We're looking for someone highly independent, adaptable, and proactive - a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can collaborate effectively across time zones.
Our team thinks differently and moves quickly, delivering high-quality, innovative solutions using the latest technologies and frameworks - all while enjoying the ride!
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Champion a DevOps mindset: Identify friction points and implement scalable automation to improve reliability, delivery speed, and developer experience.
  • Operate and optimize production environments: Use infrastructure as code and modern observability tools to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Empower development teams: Build intuitive internal tools and foster a culture of self-service within R&D.
  • Lead deployments end-to-end: From architecture to implementation, manage deployments across multiple regions and environments.
  • Collaborate globally: Work closely with an Israel-based DevOps team, maintaining strong communication and ownership despite time zone differences.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Experience: 4+ years as a DevOps, SRE, or Production Engineer.
  • Public cloud expertise: Hands-on experience with production workloads on GCP or AWS.
  • Microservices & containerization: Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
  • CI/CD pipelines: Deep familiarity with systems like GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Argo Rollouts.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar tools.
  • Automation & scripting: Skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Observability: Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and VictoriaMetrics.
  • Independence & flexibility: Comfortable working autonomously, managing priorities, and adjusting to evolving collaboration patterns across time zones.
  • Team mindset: Collaborative, curious, and technically driven - able to contribute meaningfully to a distributed, high-performing team.

As an equal-opportunity employer, we are committed to a team defined and empowered by diversity. We consider qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
We build AI for a living, and we encourage candidates to use it to prep, research, and sharpen their best work. But we're hiring humans, not chatbots. We want the real you. Use AI to tighten your resume, prep for interviews, research Torq, and outline ideas for written responses. Show up as yourself for live interviews, final assessments (the voice, logic, and reasoning need to be yours), and anywhere we're evaluating how you think - not how you prompt.
Excited about our vision and ready to make an impact as we grow? We'd love to see what you can bring to the team.
