Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and driven property maintenance minded individual. Technical training/schooling not required, and NO OVERTIME OR ON CALL IS REQUIRED. This would be a highly independent position, responsible for providing basic maintenance on the rental properties we manage throughout the Dane County area. Strong candidate will be reliable, honest, take pride in their work, and bring a range of knowledge (including but not limited to) general handyman skills, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, landscaping, painting, and HVAC. The position will be responsible for the timely and professional completion of tasks to the standards of our organization, and there is a strong expectations that candidates be willing to learn new skills while on the job.

Compensation: $28-32 per hour.

Maintenance van and gas card provided, but you will need your own transportation available as well. Need to be willing to provide your own tools necessary for basic maintenance functions. Company credit card provided for all job material purchases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic maintenance for managed properties as assigned
  • Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
  • Perform work in a timely manner
  • Tracking and entering Work Order hours, notes, receipts via mobile app
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience
  • Certifications preferred but not required
  • Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Ability to utilize our company's property management software and work order system
  • General maintenance and repair knowledge
  • Willingness to learn
