Assistant Teacher - The Learning Experience | Full-Time

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Pay: $16-18 per hour

At TLE, our Assistant Teachers are nurturing guides who help create joyful, engaging, and safe classrooms. You'll work alongside Lead Teachers to support children's growth and development while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.
Role Responsibilities
  • Support Lead Teachers in implementing The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
  • Create a safe, caring, and fun classroom environment where children can explore and thrive.
  • Assist with classroom activities, learning centers, and group play.
  • Provide support with daily routines including meals, nap time, and transitions.
  • Build strong relationships with families through positive communication.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets state licensing standards.
  • Step into classrooms as needed to ensure ratios and continuity of care.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available).
  • Must meet all state-specific childcare licensing requirements.
