Job description

Turabify Co. is looking for a passionate and dedicated Non-Profit Assistant to support the Director of our non-profit initiatives in Franklin, OH. In this role, you will provide crucial administrative assistance to the Director, helping to ensure the effective operation of our programs and projects aimed at making a positive impact in the community. Your responsibilities will include managing the Director's calendar, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and assisting with grant applications and outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to social causes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing non-profit programs and initiatives.
  • Manage the Director's schedule and coordinate meetings with staff, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Prepare and edit documents, proposals, and reports for internal and external distribution.
  • Support the fundraising efforts by assisting in grant writing and donor communications.
  • Maintain organized records and databases related to projects and donor relations.
  • Help coordinate outreach efforts and community engagement activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Director and the non-profit team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, non-profit management, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in administrative support or in the non-profit sector is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of grant writing and fundraising processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database management.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of non-profit work.
