An Injection Room, also known as a supervised injection site or safe injection facility, is a legally sanctioned space where people can use pre-obtained drugs under the supervision of trained staff. These facilities aim to reduce the risks of drug overdoses, prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and connect users with health and social services. Staff do not provide drugs but offer sterile equipment, emergency care, and referrals to treatment or other support. Injection Rooms are designed to create a safer environment for both users and the surrounding community.
