Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: San Rafael, CA 94903

Shift: Day Shift

Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay: $50 to $55 hourly on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in San Rafael, CA. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders in patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  • Implement therapy sessions to address speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and their families on communication techniques and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid California state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
