Emmy Squared Pizza-- Germantown is looking for a experienced Restaurant General Manager who is a passionate and driven leader to lead our continued success in one of Nashville's most dynamic neighborhood.

As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared Pizza is an upscale casual full-service restaurant brand with over 20 locations across the U.S., including New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Nashville, Atlanta, and more. We’re famous for our Detroit-style pizza and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

Position Responsibilities:

As our General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including:

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and motivate your team to deliver top-notch service and uphold company standards.
  • Daily Operations: Supervise restaurant employees, manage shifts, and ensure compliance with all policies, processes, and health/safety standards.
  • Guest Experience: Create a welcoming environment, engage with guests, and address concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Oversee labor scheduling, cash handling, and work to achieve sales and financial goals.
  • Strategic Execution: Lead marketing initiatives, coordinate catering contracts, and implement strategies to drive growth and enhance operations.

Position Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1 year of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Skills: Proficiency with computers, POS systems (Toast/Teamwork is a plus), and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion: A love for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Serve Safe Certified Food Manager
  • Familiarity with labor management, menu planning, and health/safety regulations
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Standing/walking for extended periods, with frequent bending, squatting, and reaching overhead.
