    SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
    The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a dump truck and completing tasks efficiently. This position will report to the Brewster Hauling Operations Manager. The person in this position needs to have the ability to be flexible as this position may perform various functions throughout a shift.
    Primary Responsibilities
    • Safely and efficiently operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from construction sites
    • Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure transportation and delivery
    • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the dump truck to assess and address any mechanical or safety issues
    • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations while operating the dump truck
    • Follow instructions from the site supervisor to ensure materials are delivered to the designated location within specified timeframes
    • Maintain a clean and safe work truck with regular maintenance
    • Retain accurate records of all deliveries, including mileage, hours of operation, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered on the road
    • Collaborate with team members to support the smooth flow of operations and assist with other tasks as needed
    • Complete detailed daily reports
    • Any additional duties as assigned
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a dump truck in construction or similar environment
    • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • Valid Driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
    • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations
    • Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and precautions
    • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when required
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to successfully pass a drug screening
    • The ability to work irregular hours, including weekends when necessary
    • The ability to work in harsh weather conditions for extended periods of time
    • The ability to exert oneself physically over long periods of time without getting winded or out of breath
