Job description

EHC is currently seeking Solid Control Hands for a client based in Texas with rotational work in Louisiana.
Solid Control Hands are responsible for the following:
  • Running and upkeep of all machinery in the backyard.
  • Running and maintaining centrifuges, control panels, drying shakers, vertical dryers, dewatering equipment, and all construction equipment used to transfer solids from drilling fluid.
  • Required to carry up to 40lb buckets of polymer for any dewatering job as needed.
  • Run reports as requested by the client to ensure that information is provided to the client on daily reports.
  • Required to keep a clean work area and are responsible for cleaning any spills immediately.
  • Service centrifuges daily which includes opening the coffin lid to wash it out, apply grease where needed, and to visually inspect for any issues.
  • All hands must attend safety meetings at the beginning of their tower and to complete any safety JSA's before their tower starts.
  • All towers will be 12-13 hours plus any additional overtime that is required.
  • Must be able to have a flexible work schedule day, night or mid shift operations.
