Job Overview:

This role of Entertainment Attendant is integral to creating a positive and entertaining experience for guests in both the arcade and bowling areas. The position requires a blend of direct guest interaction, ensuring a fun and "magical" atmosphere, and maintaining the smooth operational flow of these spaces. Primary responsibilities include assisting guests with games, managing lane assignments, handling transactions, and ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the arcade and bowling areas.

Hours: This job requires you to work during the evening, weekends, and occasionally on holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service in the arcade and bowling areas, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

  • Assist guests with arcade game operation, explain rules, and provide assistance as needed.

  • Process payments for arcade games and bowling activities accurately and efficiently.

  • Manage the redemption prize area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and adequately stocked.

  • Assist guests with prize selection and redemption.

  • Perform routine cleaning of arcade games and maintain the cleanliness of arcade carpets through sweeping and vacuuming.

  • Attempt basic troubleshooting of malfunctioning arcade games and promptly report any issues to management or maintenance.

  • Manage bowling lane assignments based on availability, group size, lane spacing, and any existing waiting lists.

  • Accurately record guest information and provide realistic wait time estimates when lanes are not immediately available.

  • Clean, scrape, and sanitize bowling shoes, ensuring they are organized by size for guest convenience.

  • Collaborate effectively with fellow employees to ensure seamless and enjoyable guest experience throughout the facility.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and address any concerns related to the Arcade, Bowling, or Theatre.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of restrooms throughout scheduled shifts.

  • Perform general cleaning duties as required.

  • Undertake any other tasks as delegated or assigned by the supervisor.

General Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire.
