What You'll Do
- Support the implementation and administration of site EHS programs and initiatives
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Deliver safety orientation and training programs for new and existing employees
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
- Assist with EHS documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Monitor safety metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste management activities
- Partner with HR on workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs
- Proactively identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Help foster a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting EHS programs in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulatory standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and wearing required PPE
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume production environments
- Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM
- Experience developing and delivering employee safety training
- Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles
