Job description

We are hiring immediately for Sheet Metal Fabrication Operator.  

What you will be doing as a Sheet Metal Fabrication Operator: 

You can expect to setup and operate a variety of machines to fabricate various aircraft components into aircraft parts. Your responsibilities may include: 

  • Part Shaping and Fabrication: Transform and straighten diverse parts based on blueprints and instructions, utilizing hammers, drills, lead bars, shrinkers, stretchers, and other fabrication equipment 
  • Tool Usage: Utilize various hand and power tools for forming, straightening, routing, drilling, shearing, and deburring, ensuring high-quality surface appearance and shape 
  •  
    • These tools may include routers, water knives, saws, shapers, and drill presses, to cut and shape metal parts to meet shop standards 

What you need to be successful: 

  • High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required 
  • 1-3 years experience operating related equipment 
  •  
    • Experience in related fields such as automotive is helpful
