Job description

Anthropologie is looking for a Temporary Product Development and Production Assistant for Home Textiles to deliver aesthetically correct samples that meet Design’s vision while supporting business requirements. This position also requires creating and maintaining files and reports. The Temporary Product Development and Production Assistant will support the daily operational functions in all aspects of product development. 


  • Draft all approval + amendment emails to be reviewed with Coordinator prior to being sent to vendors.
  • Partner w/ coordinator to identify mtg agenda and pull all samples.  Take notes and follow up post meeting
  • Create and maintain style pages in Tradestone with suppliers
  • Prep for seasonal product review and gather information in Tradestone relating to cost, T&A and sample tracking
  • Track sample send dates with vendors (proto samples, finalization samples, TOPs, etc)
  • Gather bulk production testing & PI sheets
  • Manage customs line review with compliance
  • Prep for TOP meetings by gathering samples & setting up
  • Organize and maintain seasonal product picture packs
  • Manage WIP report
  • Organize & check weekly packages
  • Draft and send emails to vendors for all new brief and sample requests seasonally for assigned categories
  • Manage vendor follow up to ensure system is updated accurately and on-time
  • Keep sample reports up to date and manage all development samples
  • Manage incoming and outgoing packages
  • Professionally communicate via email and in person, design, production and buying team members.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Sound communication and analytical skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with vendors as well as Design, Buying, and Artist Collaboration Teams.
  • Ability to take direction, be proactive, and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and strong memorization skills
