As a telehealth provider, you will conduct sessions through a user-friendly therapy platform that provides a virtual private office for live video and text counseling. Minimal administrative tasks mean you can focus your time where it matters most—supporting your clients.

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to support clients in improving their mental health.
• Facilitating open discussions to help clients express their emotions and experiences, fostering self-insight and personal growth.
• Acting as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in setting and achieving therapeutic goals.
• Assessing clients’ mental health, devising individualized treatment plans, and implementing solutions effectively based on your professional expertise.

Your work will primarily involve engaging with well-screened adult clients who present with low-acuity mental health concerns. We ensure that all clients are stable adults, which allows you to provide targeted therapy without the complexity of dealing with severe mental health cases. Furthermore, we actively match clients to therapists based on demographics and specialties, ensuring a conducive therapeutic alliance.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A completed Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• A full and unrestricted state license in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Please note that provisional licenses are not accepted, and candidates must be in good standing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are crucial for effectively supporting clients.
• Comfortable using technology and computer systems to facilitate virtual therapy sessions.

While a minimum of 2 years of related mental health counseling experience is required, candidates with additional experience or specialized training in certain therapeutic modalities will be seen as advantageous. Specific therapy methods and an understanding of diverse client demographics will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The compensation for this role falls between USD 90,000 and 104,000 annually, depending on your hours worked and experience. We also offer a robust benefits package that includes:
