Field Service Representative Gas Processing
Department: Asset Integrity Mechanical
Job Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Salary Non-Exempt
Reports To: Field Support Manager
Location: Texas, Travel within U.S.
Amount of Travel Required: >95%
Work Schedule: Positions Supervised: N/A
  • Rotational 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
  • Thursday - Wednesday shift (additional travel before and after)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Field Service Representative Gas Processing 1 (FSR Gas Processing 1) supports EVO field services by mobilization and demobilization of gas processing equipment. Additionally, their support involves utilization of gas processing equipment to ensure consistent turbine operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")
  • Participates in company safety initiatives including daily programs (written documentation, observations, JSAs, etc.) and adheres to policies and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all employees and drive operational excellence.
  • Works as a team to communicate, collaborate, and create strong alignment internally and externally with our partners.
  • Complies with all government, industry and EVO regulations and standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
  • Operates natural gas processing equipment throughout all EVO fleets.
  • Under the supervision of FSR Gas Processing 2, performs and documents site visits to verify gas processing equipment meets all EVO gas processing standards.
  • Under the supervision of FSR Gas Processing 2, reports and takes appropriate remedial measures to correct any operational gas processing issues.
  • Follows Process Safety Management requirements and participate in PSM program.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and practices good and consistent housekeeping.
  • Aid in Mobilizing and demobilizing gas package and related equipment.
  • Maintains and operates EVO vehicles while following all rules and requirements as governed by safety and operations.
  • Aides in implementation of more efficient working tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Possesses a valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean driving record per EVO guidelines.
  • Daily overtime required and in-person, predictable attendance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
  • High School Diploma or GED. Technical certification in a mechanical or electrical concentration preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of gas processing equipment and related auxiliary systems preferred.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend fundamental English.
  • Ability to attend, participate, and successfully complete the scheduled New Hire Safety training, including but not limited to H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training.
  • Attends and successfully completes annual safety recertification training.
  • Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADVANCEMENT: (Promotions may occur only after the following qualifications have been satisfied. Promotions are not guaranteed and are subject to availability of position openings.)
  • Time in Position: Minimum 12 mo.
  • Successful completion of EVOLVE Operational Training continuing education units for current position.
  • Demonstrated ability to prove aptitude in technical skillsets and competency assessments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The FSR Gas Processing position is subjected to extensive driving, therefore must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company-mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and impact gloves to include face shields and chemical aprons as necessary) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. FSR Gas Processing are regularly required to lift heavy objects; therefore, FSR Gas Processing must be able to lift 49 lbs. independently and 50100 lbs. with a team lift.
Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on job demands.
