The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing the VP, Site General Manager Davie, Florida is accountable for delivering safe, compliant, and reliable supply—on time and at optimal cost—fully aligned to market demand, while accelerating site transformation through OPEX excellence and building the next generation of technical and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand & contribute to the achievement of TEVA’s goals at the regional and global levels.
  • Achieve required goals as committed to by the site, while ensuring global and regional strategic and operational plans are carried out at the site level.
  • Leads a cross‑functional team focused on applying the continuous improvement and effectiveness thinking at the site to deliver supply (i.e. leads thinking to weigh positive and negative outcomes and devise mitigation plans to manage transfers and ensure supply).
  • Establishes the tone for the performance. Accountable for compliant delivery (i.e. high quality, safety culture, and no deviations reported by regulators) and continuous improvement by meeting challenging KPIs to drive performance that is more effective at optimum value (the best price). Proactively identifies performance risks, and develops effective mitigation strategies.
  • Establishes a culture of collaboration, operational agility, and partnership with R&D and Global Supply Chain to position Teva to win. Drives valuable partnership with R&D to be ready to launch and commercialize products on time.
  • Leads with a commercial mindset; is in lock‑step with GSC and commercial partners to deliver on market supply (or forecast supply dips) and manages those instances to minimize lack of delivery to patients.
  • People and organizational effectiveness. Leads and coaches site leadership team to run their functions to the highest level of compliance, efficiency and delivery of product supply. Leads talent management activities to ensure continuity of mobile talent supply for future network needs through succession planning and talent development. Sets the tone for employee enablement and engagement in the site.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience working in pharma industry with minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in maintaining compliant supply and developing teams.
  • Has led teams in GMP & regulatory environments.
  • Has matrix management skill, ability to define resource requirements and leverage support functions.
  • Experience developing OPEX M&B in leaders and teams; demonstrated successful OPEX transformational leadership.
Knowledge:
  • Financial & business acumen in target setting, efficiency management and P&L optimisation.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of the Teva portfolio and practical experience in the relevant technologies.
  • EHS leadership.
  • Appropriate academic background (Bachelor’s in Science / Engineering).
