• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including evaluating medical histories and pre-operative requirements to formulate effective treatment plans under the direction of supervising surgeons.
• Perform a variety of procedures that may include suturing, joint injections, and assisting with minimally invasive surgeries.
• Provide direct patient care and education, contributing to both pre-operative consultations and post-operative follow-up appointments.
• Manage and monitor post-surgical patients, ensuring their recovery process is smooth while effectively communicating with the supervising physician about any complex cases or emerging complications.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including X-rays and MRIs, to help guide treatment decisions and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on preventive health measures and rehabilitation practices to enhance their healing journey.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills in assessing, treating, and managing acute or chronic orthopedic conditions.
• Actively participate in emergency response efforts, demonstrating swift and effective decision-making skills to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain and prepare medical supplies, instruments, and equipment, ensuring a sterile and organized environment for optimal surgical outcomes.
• Other relevant duties as assigned that contribute to departmental effectiveness and patient care quality.

The Orthopedic Physician Assistant will primarily serve a diverse group of patients ranging from young athletes requiring injury management to older patients undergoing joint replacements. • A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies; a Bachelor's degree is also considered acceptable, depending on individual qualifications.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any additional certifications required by the orthopedic department.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using pertinent medical and surgical equipment necessary for orthopedic procedures.

• At least two years of professional experience in an orthopedic or surgical setting is preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong capability in managing diverse patient populations with various orthopedic needs.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
