The role of the Associate Finance Director provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Alabama Service Center (ASC) site leadership team at the Foley, AL, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility within the Aerostructures SBU at Collins Aerospace! This role has responsibility for providing full financial support for all site operations while developing and maintaining robust financial systems and controls. In addition, you will be a key partner in the Aftermarket finance team to drive strategic initiatives and provide business recommendations to meet or exceed financial targets. The role will ensure the financial position of the business is reported appropriately through the following:

What You Will Do:
Business Partner Support:
  • As a member of the ASC leadership team, this role will participate in key strategic decisions around long term strategy, investment rationalization, robust financial plans, operations support, and new business pursuits
  • Provide support for commercial decisions with key customers and suppliers
  • Develop ASC finance team through a robust succession planning process to ensure the team continues to grow breadth and depth of knowledge and experience
  • Providing technical guidance on contractual and accounting matters, critical performance metrics, and ad-hoc business analysis

Internal Controls:
  • Maintain a stable internal financial controls environment, consistent with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Ensure compliance is at the forefront of the business through consultation and coaching, leading the business through internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate accounting policies & procedures, Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) Financial manuals, and approval matrices
  • Ensure the business meets all annual control self-assessment and testing targets
  • Ensure compliance with all cash management controls
  • Support monthly close requirements by coordinating monthly close deliverables to ensure compliance with RTX close procedures

Financial Planning:
  • Develop and maintain a robust set of systems and tools to allow the effective business planning for the Aftermarket ASC business including Sales, Margin, Profit, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Develop annual Overhead and manpower plans to support financial commitments
  • Ensure the ASC/Foley MRO business is aligned to committed financial targets.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • Experience with manpower planning, LE forecasting, OH analysis, and/or other operational metrics
  • Experience leading groups and/or teams
  • Experience as a business partner to a P&L owner or cost center owner

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with US GAAP, SOX, and RTX requirements
  • Experience with SAP and OneStream Financial Management
  • Experience leading finance for a manufacturing facility, a large enterprise, or prior finance experience with RTX and/or Collins Aerospace.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
