Job description

Job Description

The Workers shall perform unit, end to end, payroll parallel, and performance testing of the client's implementation of Workday HCM/Payroll and Financials modules, recording results and cataloging identified defects according to the Workday Test Plan. The Workers will also set up, execute, and evaluate the results of automated tests using Kainos WorkSmart. The Workers will report directly to the ASMP 2.0 client's Testing Lead.


The Workers should bring experience performing testing of Workday modules. Workers need to be able to utilize test plans and expected results data to set up and conduct testing, both manually and utilizing automated testing tools, while using independent judgment to identify defects in system functionality. Workers will log defects in a ticketing system and monitor their resolution. The Workers will update test tracking documents and report status to the client's Testing Coordinator.


Qualifications

 Skills/Experience

  • Experience performing unit, end to end, payroll parallel, and/or performance testing of an ERP implementation, including HCM/Payroll.   
  •  Experience logging defects in a defect tracking system and following them through to resolution.
  • Experience in establishing and working effectively in teams, collaborating across all levels of employment hierarchy and organizational areas. 
  • Experience with Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience working independently, effectively managing multiple tasks and directional changes under short and firm deadlines and a strong ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
