SUMMARY/SCOPE:
TheCoordinator is the primary contact for the Test Proctoring services. TheCoordinator administers tests to students receiving accommodations, maintainsthe Testing Room schedule, proctors exams, and administers various tests suchas CLEP and placement exams.
HSU JOB FAMILY CLASSIFICATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These examples do not include all possibletasks & do not limit the assignment of related tasks.
Exam Administration: Coordinate test scheduling for make-up exams, placement tests, Disabilitystudents, CLEP, and outside certification agencies. Manage hours of operationto meet student/faculty needs.
Accommodations Management: Partner with AVP for Advising and Academic Support Services to provide adaptivetechnology, extended time, and alternative formats.
Security & Integrity: Protect physical and digital exam materials, verify student identification, andenforce anti-cheating protocols. Report incidences of cheating to theappropriate instructor.
Staff Supervision: Assist the AVP for Advising and Academic Support Services in training newtutors and scheduling of tutors.
Faculty Liaison: Collect exams from instructors, track completion, and securely return finishedexams.
Data Collection: collect and maintain the Testing Center's statistics, prepares biannual reportsand makes recommendations to the AVP for Advising and Academic Support Servicesconcerning usage trends.
Marketing: Publicizes services and communicates testing policies to campus constituencies.
Performsall other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nosupervisor responsibilities, except for supervision of student workers.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Abilityto read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professionaljournals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to writereports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectivelypresent information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients,customers, and the general public.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree ispreferred or an associate degree with relevantadministrative experience.
Prior work experience in an academic setting, customerservice, or student support services is preferred.
Must be enthusiasticabout working in a team-oriented environment.
Must have the abilityto be self-motivated as demonstrated in previous work experience.
Must have superborganizational skills with attention to detail; skilled in keeping accuraterecords and ability to prepare detailed reports as demonstrated in previouswork experience.
Must be able to maintainconfidentially of testing materials and results as required by FERPA, etc.
The above requirementswill be validated through the written competencies provided by the applicant inaddition to the interview process and reference checks regarding pastemployment experience, etc.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Thisis a Non-Exempt, Full-Time Hourly Position.
Aregular 40-hour workweek is required at minimum plus occasional overtime (orirregular hours) on evenings and/or weekends.
Allhours worked beyond 40 hours in a single work week will be compensated at timeand a half, per FLSA guidelines.
Must have and maintain a valid Class C Driver'sLicense and maintain a clear driving record to be insurable under theuniversity liability policy.
Must be able to drive to complete work assignments onand off campus, as needed.
Additional travel may berequired on occasion for training and/or workshops.
