Job description

Job Summary:
ClifyX is a company focused on federal grants, and they are seeking a QA Automation Analyst responsible for testing the ESSA System. The role involves testing software, documenting issues, performing systems analysis, and providing status reports while working with minimal direction.
Responsibilities:
• test software produced by the ITS division
• document issues found and report test status
• perform advanced computer systems analysis work
• work under minimal direction with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
• test TEA computer programs under the direction of a lead
• keep agency supervisor and management informed on issues and the status of work planned and completed by submitting weekly status reports
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years' experience with the following:
• Full Software Development Life Cycle in an Object-Oriented framework where there is transitioning to agile development practices
• Experienced and knowledgeable in use of test automation tools particularly Client UFT, WAPT PRO, and Client ALM
• Designing, developing and implementing test plans, test cases, test scenarios and test reports, processes for web applications from Software Requirements Specification Documentation, and other specification documents
• Database query tools such as Oracle PL/SQL
• Functional, integration, performance, security, and regression testing
• 2+ years' experience or testing knowledge of Microsoft .Net Framework and the following .Net languages: ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#.NET, or other OO software development
