Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
  • Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., RestAssured, Selenium for integration with UI testing).

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs, covering functional, performance, security, and reliability aspects.
  • Test Execution: Execute manual and automated API tests using various tools and frameworks.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand API specifications and ensure test coverage.
