Job Summary:
Nightwing is a company that provides advanced cyber, data operations, and intelligence mission support services. They are looking to hire a detail driven manual test engineer who will work closely with scrum masters, developers, and other Quality Assurance professionals to ensure high-quality software applications. The role involves developing test plans, performing testing, and collaborating in an Agile environment to deliver reliable software solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Analyze product features, design test parameters, create customized quality checks, and write test reports.
• Performs hands-on manual and exploratory testing for all software releases.
• Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Validate fixes to ensure issues are resolved and nothing else broke.
• Participate in regression testing to confirm fixes and prevent reintroducing issues.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Contribute to test planning, including decomposing requirements into test scenarios.
• Accurately estimate testing efforts for project planning and tracking and provide input to scrum master.
• Partner closely with scrum masters and developers to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.
