Job description

Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
o Define test strategy based on requirements and specifications regarding Automotive product.
o Identify failures, root cause issues and recommend fixes.
o Create scripts/tools to improve testing efficiency.
o Write validation reports, test procedures, and compliance document.(Ensuring all equipment, systems, and processes adhere to Automotive standards)
o Ability to communicate effectively with customers based on a solid understanding of vehicle simulation bench architecture and test environments.
o Maintenance and management of test Bench equipment.
System Requirement Analysis & Test Case Generation:
o Clarify system requirements through detailed discussions and documentation.
o Provide tailored solutions to address both technical and engineering-related challenges.
Customer Support & Engineering Collaboration:
o Assist customers in resolving technical and operational issues, ensuring smooth project execution.
o Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
Compliance, Quality & Safety:
o Ensure programs are executed in accordance with Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS) requirements.
o Ensure compliance with applicable automotive standards and customer-specific requirements, including IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE, ISO 17025.
o Maintain working knowledge of safety policies and regulations and ensure all program activities are performed in a safe manner.
Business Travel & Customer Support:
o Conduct business trips to manufacturing sites or HQ to support customer visits and project reviews.
o Function as a key representative during customer visits, ensuring a positive and productive experience.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
o Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience (5 additional years of relevant technical experience in degree). A technical or engineering degree is strongly preferred.
o Prior experience in a OEM or Tier 1 in Automotive Industry environment is a plus.
Professional Experience
o 10+ years of experience in Automotive industry with at least 5+ years of validation engineer test experience in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing
Technical Skills:
o Familiarity with VCU and Bench test equipment and software.
o Having a strong understanding of Vehicle VCU log analysis involves several key competencies and knowledge areas.
o Solid understanding of automotive product development processes and cross-functional engineering practices.
o Familiarity with test tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, dSPACE, NI, or equivalent
o Experience with diagnostic validation (UDS services, DTC verification, fault memory validation)
o Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis (RCA) in collaboration with HW/SW teams
o Experience with test scripting, log analysis, and large dataset validation
o Define and execute comprehensive validation strategies covering unit, integration, system, and vehicle-level testing
o Execute black-box and white-box testing for embedded software components.
o Familiarity with issue tracking system such as PTRS and JIRA system.
Language Proficiency:
o Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.
o Ability to communicate effectively with global clients and internal teams.

o Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately, ensuring data security and compliance.
