Job description

Huntington Learning Centers have been helping students succeed in school for more than 45 years. Our customized programs support students 5-12 with closing the COVID gap, reaching goal SAT/ACT test scores, and moving to the front of the class academically. We offer programs in reading, phonics, and writing; math and sciences; comprehensive test prep; as well as IEP, ADHD, and study skills support.
We are looking for talented professionals that will help students achieve self-confidence, motivation, and academic success. After a paid training period to learn our methods, you will spend your time teaching and making a difference in children’s lives. We provide the curriculum and develop individualized programs for each student.
The Opportunity:
  • Work with students in a 1 to 1 setting, or across small group up to 4.
  • Focus on classroom skill development, subject tutoring, and test prep.
  • Paid training and professional development opportunities.
  • All curriculum is provided and tutoring takes place in the center.
  • Collaborative, fun, and rewarding work environment.
  • Flexible, part-time hours.

Teaching Hours:
  • School Year: Monday-Thursday, 2-8:30pm; Fridays 3-7pm; Saturdays 9am-3pm.
  • Summer: Monday-Friday 9am-7pm; Saturdays 9am-3pm.

Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • Expertise in Reading, Writing, English, Math, and/or Sciences.
  • Certification/license as well as ACT/SAT experience a plus, but not required.
