Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead all US Compliance marketing collateral reviews to ensure compliance with applicable consumer compliance laws and regulations (e.g. UDAAP/Reg E)
  • Assist legal and other stakeholders with new product launches and product changes by considering compliance with Reg E and any additional requirements from external banking partners
  • Conduct quarterly quality control reviews of all partner bank marketing collateral reviews in accordance with established procedures and standards
  • Communicate with partner banks on matters related to consumer compliance including those related to periodic reviews, audits and any potential remediation efforts
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing policies, procedures, terms and conditions, agreements and other marketing collateral and work with stakeholders to implement improvements.
  • Maintain, create and update various compliance policies, procedures and process documents including those related to consumer compliance and financial crime compliance
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive Marketing & Advertising Compliance Guidelines for internal teams
  • Conduct periodic audits of live digital advertisements to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Assist the Compliance team with annual risk assessments and regular reporting
  • Assist all team members by independently taking on special projects and completing and meeting the teams' goals
  • Coordinate with various business teams for regulatory exams, due diligence, internal audits, and independent test reviews
Requirements
  • 5+ years of compliance experience in a financial services, fintech, or banking environment in a related consumer compliance role
  • Direct experience with consumer compliance regulations, especially EFTA/Regulation E and UDAAP
  • Working knowledge of prepaid and credit card functionality and involved parties
  • Understanding of the responsibilities of various parties within a multi-party arrangement including the sponsor bank and the program manager
  • Strong balance of growth goals with regulatory risk management, offering creative solutions, compliant alternatives to marketing proposals
  • Experience supporting regulatory audits, managing remediation projects, and coordinating cross-functional compliance efforts
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience preparing materials for working groups, committees, or regulatory submissions
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You’re someone who doesn’t need a fully paved road to get moving
  • Fintech or crypto industry background preferred
  • Familiarity with banking regulators and examination processes is a plus
