Come join Toyota Automated Logistics where you have the satisfaction of designing and developing various systems that come to life. We are currently hiring for a Controls Engineer that is responsible for multiple controls projects.
Job Overview
Our engineers help design, test, program and commission very exciting projects in the world of Material Handling. If you have experience with PLC's, HMI, SCADA or other Controls systems experience then come investigate further a company that has a family cultural but is part of the Toyota family known for safety and quality.
Job Functions
  • Conduct full scope of controls projects that will involve programming with PLC/HMI or other various technologies.
  • Work within a team environment of project deliverables.
  • Learn new technologies via in-house or external training.
  • Develop processes to help support our team growth.
  • Solving problems for our team and customers.
  • Deliver projects that meet or exceed customer's expectations.
  • Develop customers relationships.
  • Contribute to project teams, providing help outside of controls scope when required.
  • Establish beneficial relationships with our key supplier products and service and provide technical assistance around issues or solutions.
  • Develop new controls techniques or equipment that will help maintain Toyota Automated Logistics as a leader in our industry.

Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel 30 to 50% at times might be required. (two-week rotation)

Required Qualification and Preferred Skills:
  • BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering (preferred).
  • 5+ years' experience, PLC, HMI, SCADA, panel design experience, hands on and mechanical capabilities, controls project managing experience.
  • Experience with MS Office products.
  • AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
  • Material Handling Integration experience preferred.
  • Communication and Organization Skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
