Job Summary:

The Team Lead Server Engineering is responsible for planning and leading the Server Engineering team in implementing and supporting systems, ensuring technology environments meet corporate goals, and improving business recovery efforts.
Responsibilities:
• planning and leading the Server Engineering team in the research and implementation of new systems
• support of existing systems
• leading technology projects that involve servers, SAN, monitoring and patch management systems
• leading in the development of technical recommendations to improve the technology environment and meet corporate strategic goals
• ensuring the production technology environment is available and performing as expected
• planning and leading efforts to improve the business recovery environment
• leading and participating in the semi-annual business recovery tests.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math or related field or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years’ experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and in supporting server related infrastructure and software.
• Must have experience in leading technology related projects.
• Must have good understanding of Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
• Must have a thorough understanding of current networking technologies, security administration, and backup & disaster recovery technologies and solutions.
• Must be proficient in use of LAN technologies and current corporate standard desktop productivity applications as well as project management and visual documentation tools.
