You will serve as a ENGINEER in the TEST AND EVALUATION DEPARTMENT, FLEET WARFIGHTING READINESS AND OPERATIONS DIVISION, UNDERSEA WARFARE SHIP TEST AND EVALUATION BRANCH of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.Qualifications:For ND-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 pay band (GS-9/10/11 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer applying advanced engineering principles to independently plan, lead, execute, and analyze the testing and evaluation of Undersea Warfare (USW), sonar, or similar complex shipboard combat systems to verify safe installation and full operational readiness.
For ND-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 pay band (GS-5/6/7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer applying engineering principles to support the planning, execution, and analysis of testing and evaluation of Undersea Warfare (USW), sonar, or similar shipboard combat systems to verify safe installation and operational readiness.

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico. Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above). The courses must be fully acceptable toward meeting the requirements of an engineering program as described in paragraph A (above)

Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field, e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance. Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
For the ND-03 position, in lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Two years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree;
