We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer II to join our team in Goleta, CA. This is a 12-month contract opportunity

Position Details

Title: #Test_Engineer_II

Location: #Goleta, CA 93117

Duration: 12 Months

Work Arrangement: #Onsite

Citizenship: #US_Citizenship_Required

Shift: #Must_be_flexible to support 1st or 2nd shift

#1st Shift: 7:00 AM 4:45 PM

#2nd Shift: 2:30 PM Midnight

Travel: Approximately 10%, including travel between Goleta and Oxnard, CA, and occasional customer support

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement testing methods, processes, and equipment.

Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, equipment, and resources required for product testing and evaluation.

Perform product testing in collaboration with cross-functional Operating Unit teams, including test planning, setup, execution, data collection, analysis, reporting, and post-test processing.

Integrate products with test tooling, software, equipment, and instrumentation.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving test equipment, tooling, and test harnesses.

Collect and analyze test data and support test requirement verification.

Develop and maintain test procedures and technical documentation.

Identify improvements required in testing equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements.

Support testing of customer samples and specialized tests that cannot be performed in the standard test area.

Participate in and present findings during internal and customer-facing technical reviews.

Leverage modern testing tools and methodologies to improve cost, quality, and testing schedules.

Support Operations Test Engineering objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of #Test_Engineering experience preferred.

Experience with #LabVIEW or other test automation software.

Experience measuring and controlling electronic components such as:
