Description:

The Seasonal Test Driver, under the direction of Lead Driver/Facility Coordinator performs various driving test on new vehicle not out in the public market. This position plans to go for 180 business days, however, there is a possibility it could end earlier.


2nd Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM


Pay Rate: $21.00/Hourly


Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive assigned routes in accordance with all established procedures.
  • Perform multiple levels of vehicle testing.
  • Prepare accurate Drivers Reports and data downloads on a daily basis.
  • Able to prepare detailed reports on a tablet and in writing.
  • Able to use customer’s Smartphone to access vehicle features.
  • Perform other related driving / vehicle preparation work as required.
  • Employees are required to complete lift training, as they will need to lift vehicles for inspection.
  • Follow policies and procedures of both Bertrandt and customer.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Four (4) years licensed driving experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess clean driving record and current valid CA driver’s license with no more than one violation in the past three years.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of smartphones required.
  • Knowledge of vehicle components, systems, and operating procedures are a plus.
  • Must be knowledgeable of new vehicle features.
