Submarine Sonar Systems Test Director Engineer II
Essential Job Functions:

This position coordinates and executes Sonar and Acoustic Systems test events and operational demonstrations. The client requires a Submarine Sonar Systems Test Director to support sonar and acoustic Systems software for testing, engineering, and development. This position provides test and integration support in a lab, OEM, and shipboard actual and/or simulated environments.
Skills:
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, procedural compliance, and the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams, and to adjust schedule to address workload demands and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3 years professional experience in engineering
  • Prior certification or ability to become certified as a Sonar Test Director
  • Experience in Automation Testing – Programming, execution and analysis
  • Familiarity with programs and tools such as: JIRA/Linux/TestRail/MATLAB desired
Familiarity with Submarine Sonar Systems (ARCI/APB/TI) and sonar theory a plus
At a minimum Interim Secret Clearance is required
