Test Automation Engineer - Triage
Job Title: Test Automation Engineer - Triage
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Our client is working on a government project so the candidate will require to get security clearance
JD for Automation Triage Engineer position:
We are looking for a strong Automation Engineer with hands-on Python skills and DevOps awareness to triage and resolve environment-related issues. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation solutions while diagnosing system and pipeline failures. Knowledge of firmware and hardware is a strong advantage for identifying and troubleshooting hardware-related issues effectively.
The position requires strong automation skills with Python and the ability to diagnose issues that span software, environment, and hardware layers. Candidates should have basic exposure and awareness of hardware and devices to support effective triaging; however, dedicated or deep experience in handling complex hardware issues is not required.
Customer expectations: Although we touch only software portion of satellites, it would be very difficult to do the work without having any experiences of hardware.
