We are seeing a Lead Automation Engineer with deep IT experience in test automation and QA leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as an embedded QA within the development team from early design through release
  • Identify, log, and track defects clearly and precisely
  • Develop and manage test data for a wide range of scenarios
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to maintain product reliability and performance
  • Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders for early issue detection and resolution
  • Coach team members on quality best practices
  • Stay responsive and adaptable to changing project needs and timelines
  • Drive continuous improvements in testing processes and product quality

Workplace:  This is an onsite role in Green Bay, WI

Must Have Skills:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • Coding experience in Java or Python
  • Highly experienced with automation of API and web/mobile apps across platforms
  • Web service automation experience
  • Excellent handle on UI automation using Page Objects & Domain Driven design
  • Relational database experience and NoSQL DB exposure
  • Continuous integration experience with systems like Jenkins, Circle CI or Gitlab pipelines
  • Good understanding of the latest trends in Automation and Continuous testing
  • Experience with ticket tracking systems, Agile workflows and testing systems such as Jira
  • Extensive knowledge in creating test plans for complex software and integration projects
  • Familiar with the testing pyramid and how to achieve an ideal mix of testing granularity
  • Review, Analyze & Document bugs/issues accurately and clearly

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or logistics domain
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps QA integration
  • Experience with incorporating Gherkin language and BDD into manifold automation framework
  • Exposure to Springboot web services and basic understanding of Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field
