The Head of Electrical Systems (what we call the position internally) will develop and execute the North American Electrical Systems strategy in alignment with the global business unit framework, driving growth and profitability while reporting to both the Head of Sales amp; Marketing and the Global Head of Electrical Systems.
How you'll help the formula:
  • Responsible for the growth and profitability of the Electrical Systems Business Unit (ES BU)
  • Define and implement the regional market strategy and the go-to-market approach
  • Build the organization to meet business needs by leading direct reports to achieve high performance and growth through clear objectives, sales policies, regular reviews, and compensation planning (including bonus design)
  • As a member of the Global Leadership Team for ES, the Head of ES contributes to shaping global strategy by providing insights on competitive activity, market trends, and technologies influencing international decisions
  • As a member of the Regional Management Team for North America, the Head of ES will help shape the North American Strategy within scope of the global strategy
  • Responsible for participating in inter-disciplinary regional or global strategic projects
  • Ensure comprehensive and consistent reporting of product requirements, application specifics and other related marketing issues for North America within his/her responsible focus market areas
  • Responsible for adherence to legally allowable actions relating to pricing, promotion terms and conditions

  • Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable federal, state, and local laws

Key elements for your role:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of sales and marketing leadership experience required with a track record of success
  • Previous P amp;L responsibility; preferably in a matrix organization
  • Strategic thinking combined with leadership ability, business acumen, and multicultural/multilevel communications skills
  • International experience and demonstrated success operating within matrixed organizations; preferred
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM required
